KhayaList stores the minimum information needed to run the platform, answer enquiries, and improve suburb intelligence. Lead routing requires explicit consent and remains disabled unless enabled by the operator.
What we collect
- Search and filter inputs used to navigate suburb pages.
- Form submissions for property help, contact, or lead requests.
- Admin session cookies needed to protect the internal dashboard.
- Google Maps embed events when a suburb page loads a map.
How we use data
- To return suburb comparisons, rankings, and affordability calculations.
- To store consented lead requests and route them only when approved.
- To improve content quality, source coverage, and source-band hints.
AI-assisted research
Some suburb copy, scoring, and summaries are AI-assisted and derived from sourced research. Public pages surface source links, a small source-band hint, and last-updated dates so users can tell what is official, estimated, or still under review. See the methodology note for the grading details.
Your rights
If you submit personal information, you can request access, correction, or deletion where applicable under POPIA and related privacy rules. Do not submit anything sensitive unless it is necessary for the service you want.
